Grade 1 winner and a leading first crop sire Hard Hitting will stand the 2014 season at Firth Ranch near Hemet, California. His 2014 fee will be $1,500.

Owned by the Hard Hitting Partnership, the son of leading sire Tr Dasher won or placed in eight of 13 career starts while earning $358,923. He won the Governor's Cup Futurity(G1), Governor's Cup Derby(G1) and was second in the Los Alamitos Two Million Juvenile Invitational. He was also a finalist in the PCQHRA Breeders' Futurity(RG1) and El Primero Del Ano Derby(G2).


From a limited number of starters in his first crop to race this season, Hard Hitting has sired five winners, three stakes-placed (12%) and earners of nearly $160,000. He is currently sixth on the Leading First Year Sires of Money Earners list.

Among his starters are Grade 2 placed, J Hitman (winner at 2, $60,980 2nd Oklahoma Futurity-G2, etc.), stakes-placed Hardhitting Sawyer (winner at 2, $22,110 2nd Rocky Mountain Futurity, etc.), RG3 placed Miss Tessmocker (at 2, $15,880 3rd New Mexico Breeders' Futurity-G3, etc.), Punch Me Pepsi (winner at 2, $12,625), Quick To Hit (winner at 2, $12,070), Aj Hardwood (winner at 2, $6,320), etc.

Hard Hitting is out of the RG3 placed Chicks Beduino mare Chickasis, dam of 17 ROM including stakes winner and track record setter Lassen County SI 102 ($146,229), stakes-placed Secretly Seymour ($86,164) and stakes-placed Chickafire SI 94 ($57,529). Chickasis is also the granddam of AQHA Racing World Champion Freaky SI 107 ($763,444), winner of the Champion of Champions(G1), etc. This is the immediate female line of stakes winners Backin SI 98 ($156,953), Totally Done Back SI 99 ($185,805), Back Metallic SI 99 ($23,945), etc.
