Betting On A Cure For Breast Cancer Night at the races helped raise funds for St. Mary’s Medical Foundation and Susan G. Komen LA County affiliate. The event feature a Fashion Expo in the track’s Finish Line Room in which breast cancer survivors served as models. The gate crew, headed by starter John Baker, outrider Keith Craigmyle and the pony riders at Los Alamitos all wore pink t-shirts in support of Betting On A Cure for Breast Cancer. Pony riders also participated in a “Decorate Your Ride” contest. Amanda Ropar (left) won a gift bag courtesy of AQHA, Susan G. Komen LA County and the Los Alamitos Gift Shop for her great job decorating her pony horse, a gentle and dashing gray horse named Cisco.
