         The 58th running of the Grade 1, $100,000 Go Man Go Handicap will be contested on Sunday night at Los Alamitos with another great cast set to square off in the 400-yard race.                                 

        Racing Secretary Jay Conklin has made Jim Walker’s Zoomin For Spuds and Darling Farms’ Hold Air Hostage the co-highweights at 126 pounds each. Zoomin For Spuds will be going after his 10th stakes win atLos Alamitos in the Go Man Go. The son of Zoomin For Bux won the 2016 Champion of Champions during his sophomore campaign and he has already picked up two stakes wins this season at the OrangeCounty oval.

        Trained by Monty Arrossa, Zoomin For Spuds won the Moonist Handicap on March 25 and then defeated BHLisas Boy by a nose in the Grade 1 Vessels Maturity on July 8. Hold Air Hostage ran second in the Bank of America California Championship in his local debut on August 11. He won the All American Derby last year and is a winner of more than $1.3 million his career. Other top names that could be in action includes the millionaire He Looks Hot (124 pounds),  Grade 1 winner Lotta Blues Man (122 pounds), Grade 1 stakes placed runners Tarzanito (124 pounds) and Kissed By An Eagle (123 pounds), and stakes winner Katies Easy Moves (123 pounds).

         Others nominated are Mr PYC To You (124 pounds), LD Is Back (123 pounds), Rite Regal (123 pounds), Royaltys Authority (123 pounds), Well Good (121 pounds), Chicks Fayvorite (120 pounds), Hold Sway (120 pounds), and Unclaimed Dividend (120 pounds). Mr PYC To You, winner of the 2017 Champion of Champions, is scheduled to race in Sunday’s Bank of America Emerald Downs Championship.
