Career Profile: When Enjoy The Moment dead-heated for the win in the Miss Princess Handicap, it gave trainer Patricia Visscher the first graded stakes win of her career. It was an emotional victory for the trainer considering what she has been through. Patricia had to learn the ropes of how to become a trainer after her husband, Hans Visscher passed away in the fall of 2002. Visscher has definitely done well on her own, as she won races at a solid 13.7% clip in 2004. "Everything I know about horse racing I learned from my husband," she said. "When he passed away, I had to figure out a way to keep the stable going or walk away. Chris O'Dell was a big help during the transitional period. He helped me get the barn going when things were tough. I was so happy when Enjoy The Moment won the Miss Princess because she deserved such a victory. She had worked very hard for a long time."  Enjoy The Moment has since gone over the $100,000 mark in earnings, not bad for a mare that was looking at being retired in 2003. "She has her little problems so I just figured we would turn her into a broodmare in 2004," Visscher explained. "A friend of mine talked me out of that idea. Enjoy The Moment has been terrific ever since."
