California's richest race for 3-year-old fillies is the Los Alamitos Oaks. The Oaks will feature an estimated purse of $450,000 this year. Trials to this race are slated for Saturday, March 6. The inaugural Oaks was held last year and it featured winner Dreams Divine and talented mares Southern Wagon and Kiss Thru Fire.

Los Alamitos Race Course is now open for daytime outdoor simulcasting in the Vessels Club, Mezzanine level and grandstand apron. General admission is $3 and senior admission is $2. Vessels Club admission is $10 and dress code is now in effect. Please note that live racing will still be conducted with no spectators and with only essential personnel and staff allowed inside the facility until further notice. The Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Racing Association announced its champions and leaders for the 2020 racing year with a special award show webcast that premiered on Thursday, February 4. Live racing continues at the Orange County oval with a great weekend of action. Saturday's card on Feb. 13 will feature the Grade 1 Los Alamitos Winter Derby, while the Sunday, February 14 card will be headed by the Grade 1 Brad McKinzie Los Alamitos Winter Championship.
