1ST RACE: Purse $8,t00, thoroughbreds, maiden claiming, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.

     TWO TIMING LUCY (Bednar) was sharp second in last start at this level vs. class-dropping winner who since ran third in 870-yard allowance race. CHARMING WEEKEND (De La Torre) has improved with each start and forced the pace when third vs. two class droppers in last. LOVES IMAGE (Hernandez) was roughed up at the start of last fifth-place try and was third twice at this level last summer.

 

2ND RACE: Purse $9,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.

     ROCKIN MY MOJO (Bednar) disappointed when tiring to seventh in last starter after showing solid early speed while victorious two outs ago and has solid connections. SEATTLE ENCOUNTER (Rojas) was third vs. much stronger at shorter distance two outs ago and won at this level four races back. SOFT TRIP (Payeras) has meet’s leading distance rider up for first start since September and won nicely at this level two outs ago.

 

3RD RACE: Purse $9,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 4 furlongs.

     HOLY PLAN (Hernandez) runs best when drawn outside and forced the pace from an outside draw in last win at this level. BLAZINGHOTPROSPECT (Payeras) was forced to check back from between horses deep on the far turn of last outing when near the lead and won two of her prior three starts. SHAUALA (Aragon) showed solid early speed when winning at higher level one week ago and is the inside controlling speed.

 

4TH RACE: Purse $10,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.

     QUANTUM FORCE (Bednar) took advantage of a fast pace in last stretch-running victory and is effective from on/off the lead. FOUR GAELS (Payeras) beat softer field in last victory, has past class and retains leading rider for new barn. JAY MAKES US LAUGH (Hernandez) outfinished top pick with late rally in last start five weeks ago and beat stronger at Santa Anita last summer.

5TH RACE: Purse $9,980, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 300 yards.

     RHEMY MARKO (Rangel) was floated in solidly from the rail post in last tough trip, gets positive post switch and puts blinkers back on. LDS SUE ELLEN (Ayala) won last despite breaking nearly one length slow vs. similar and is well drawn. GONE GONE AWAY (Viramontes) didn’t break alertly in last third-place outing and won two of his prior four starts under this rider.

 

6TH RACE: Purse $11,825, allowance, 3 year olds and up, 100 yards.

     KONO (J Nicasio) exits best races, shortens up in distance and has winning connections. APOLLITICAL DASHER (Ayala) has shown improvement since adding blinkers three outs ago and lands leading rider. SEPERTIST DASH (Huerta) was impeded past the 1/8-pole in last fifth-place outing and lands comfortable post.

 

7TH RACE: Purse $8,000, Winter Championship trial, 4 year olds and up, 400 yards.

     JESSTACARTEL (C Mendez) dropped head photo after getting bumped fairly hard at start of last head loss in Champion Of Champions and runs hard every time. ZOOMIN FOR SPUDS (Ayala) broke super in last fourth-place Grade I race and is back at best distance. TARZANITO (E Garcia) was off poorly in the Champion Of Champions and lands nice post here.

 

8TH RACE: Purse $8,000, Winter Championship trial, 4 year olds and up, 400 yards.

     HE LOOKS HOT (Bednar) runs his best when drawn outside and had the rail draw in last sixth-place Grade I outing. KATIES EASY MOVES (E Nicasio) is usually quick form the gate and scored sharp stakes win at this distance in last. BH LISAS BOY (Franco) finished with a rush in last neck Champion Of Champions loss and multiple Grade I winner needs alert start from the same number two post.
