1ST RACE: Purse $10,000, thoroughbreds, maiden claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
     CAPTAIN N BARRON (Bednar) finished second in six of 20 starts on the major Southern California circuits and gets his easiest chance here. MIDNIGHT GLORY (Orozco) battled from between horses for lead into the stretch of last third-place try at longer distance but has been idle for 11 weeks. SKY GLORY (Payeras) was bumped repeatedly while in tight quarters during the early running of last Santa Anita outing and adds blinkers.
2ND RACE: Purse $9,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
     LUCKY LULA (Hernandez) disappointed when fifth vs. better in first try at this distance three weeks ago and catches soft field for this level. MARRIOTT FASHION (Harvey) kept to her task along the inside down the lane when fifth at higher level in last and adds blinkers. AMERICAN HEART (Rojas) looms one to catch in paceless field and was second vs. wire-to-wire winner at shorter route in last.
3RD RACE: Purse $14,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
     INEEDAMANIANAPEDI (Payeras) had speed sharpened in last fourth-place try at shorter distance and was forced to come wide into the lane of prior runnerup try. SADDLE CLUB (Hernandez) looms the inside controlling speed and won five races last year. SLIGHTLY (Arana) has won two of last three outs under this rider and beat top pick three outs ago.
4TH RACE: Purse $6,660, maiden claiming, 3 year olds, 300 yards.
     LEDECKY (Ayala) dropped nose photo at this level in last and has been no worse than third in last three tries at this level. FAVORABLE SEPARATION (Leon) was bumped steadily before the 1/8-pole in fifth-place debut when moving strong past the wire. WINNING FOR SUCCESS (Franco) has had the rail post draw in three of last four outs and finished .19 behind top pick in last fourth-place try.
5TH RACE: Purse $7,245, maiden claiming, 2 year olds, 300 yards.
     CHICKA CHICKA GO (J Nicasio) was away sluggish in fifth-place debut and went well in prior 12.5 drill. SHEZA FOOSE (Ayala) was away slow while bumped from both sides at start of sixth-place debut vs. better. OLD SCHOOL ICON (Gasca) was third in Arizona futurity three weeks ago and barn is doing well.

6TH RACE: Purse $8,500, maidens, 2 year olds, fillies, 300 yards.
     CAROLINA CORONA (J Nicasio) broke sharp in good 12.3 drill before fourth-place trial debut vs. winner who qualified for Kindergarten. SHEZ DIVINE (Ayala) broke sharp and showed nice stride during final 1/16 of good 12.2 work for debut. ACELERADO (Huerta) outworked second selection in first 12.4 drill and was bumped in a few lanes at the start of last 12.4 work.
7TH RACE: Purse $9,000, maidens, 2 year olds, 300 yards.
     CLOSE TO IT (Gomez) broke slow in fourth-place debut when moving well past wire and looked very strong in prior 12.2 drill. MONARCH (Arana) was hard to manage when lugging out badly from outside post in better-than-looked sixth-place debut. SASS MO BLUE (Roman) displayed a long stride after lugging inward early in last improved 12.4 drill.
8TH RACE: Purse $11,525, allowance, 3 year olds, 330 yards.
     PULL THE TRIGGER (Bednar) ran well fresh in debut win last year and faced much stronger while second in two of last four tries. ACCOMMODATING (Andrade Jr) broke sharp and was well in hand late when posting nice 18.2 gate drill for return. HOT BLAZIN CHICK (Sanchez) was initimidated by lugging-out rival past the 1/16-pole in last fourth-place try and benefits by recent racing.
9TH RACE: Purse $361,700, Robert Adair Kindergarten Futurity, 2 year olds, 300 yards.
     CHAYITO CARTEL (Ayala) has been quick early and solid late in both impressive victories. MENTAL ERROR (Sanchez) won trial by one length while breaking nearly one length slow in last sharp trial victory. CHICKITITAS FAVORITE (C Mendez) scored handy trial win in fast time while drifting out steadily during final 1/8 and needs to maintain straight course here from outside post.
