CHRIS WADE’S PICKS TO CLICK AT LOS ALAMITOS FOR SATURDAY, JANUARY 19, 2019

Tonight's BEST BET goes in the opening leg of the "Best Bet" in all of night racing, the Early Pick Four here at beautiful ole' Los Alamitos where the pools are gigantic and the return on your investment could be the same with a double digit winner along the way. In Race 1, the # 4-GYPSY'S RULE has earned this event's top figure in each of her last two efforts versus better with everything factored (trouble @ track variant) in since the re-claim by a top-notch shed-row. With a perfect 3rd or 4th over journey expected with at least 3 need the lead entrants signed up in this mish mashed affair, we'll push the chances of the GYPSY harshly as the probable and deserving public choice. The PRICE PLAYER on the Saturday evening race-card will go in the first of four Trials for the highly anticipated Los Alamitos Derby. In Race 5, the # 7-BAIL CZECH is a small bodied strife finder who has earned many a figure that is very competitive for tonight's endeavor and the fast finisher draws the perfect outside post for his late charge. In his most recent effort 21 night's ago, the newly turned 3 year old broke slow to put himself behind the 8-ball right from the get-go. After the tough getaway, this runner finished with a flurry to land in the trifecta followed by a huuuuuge gallop out through the clubhouse turn. With a clear path to the wire this evening, this entrant could be the bay blur y'all see nearing wire at a medium mutual.

CHRIS WADE'S PICKS TO CLICK AT LOS ALAMITOS FOR SUNDAY, JANUARY 20, 2019

Tonight's BEST BET goes in the 3rd leg of the Best Bet in all of night racing, the Early Pick Four here at beautiful Los Alamitos where the pools are huuuuuuge and the return on your investment could be the same with a double digit winner along the way. In Race 3, the # 2-SHAULA earned this events top figure from her most recent effort versus much better for a quality shed-row that always put's em' where they can compete. The hard knocking mare went wire to wire 7 night's ago and her interior speed numbers on my charts are steadily best in this otherwise mish-mashed affair. The 5 year old should be triple tough to deny with my best early and final numbers and the quickster is coming back in 7 nights, which is one of my favorite handicapping angles. Take this runner on top and look for a ring around the rosie performance. The PRICE PLAYER on the Sunday evening race-card will be in the first of two trials for the G1 Brad McKinzie Winter Championship. In Race 7, the # 9-TARZANITO is a big bodied strife finder deluxe who has many a figure on my charts with everything factored (trouble @ track variant) in that compares favorably with tonight's endeavor. In the good lookers last effort 36 nights ago, this horse leaned back @ then bobbled at the start to lose multiple lengths and his early racing momentum. After the "horrible" getaway, this runner was crossed by quicker and perfect tripped rivals prior to finishing well on his own while under a hold for a "much better than looked" 9th place finish. With a quality number in tow along with an outside post draw that should ensure a clear path to the wire, let's give the supplemented entrant a big look at a medium mutual.
