 Race 7 – Maiden Fillies for 2-Year-Olds – 300 Yards

#2 Steamy – May 12 (Workout #10) :12.50 at 220 yards – Outside

Kiddy Up filly outworked a rival by the named of Other World 12.5 to 13.5. In this drill, Steamy had her head turned towards the inside. The assistant starter helped poing her head forward before the gate opened. At the start, she veered in hard to the inside and bumped her foe. She drifted in a few more strides from there before evening out. She showed a lot of speed 50 yards into the work and then continued to pull away from her rival. She won the drill easily while finishing under a hold while continuing with a nice gallop out.

#7 Pyromancer – June 13 (Counter 5:15) :13.0 at 220 yards – Middle Horse

Worked in between horses when finishing evenly with her outside rival, Fire Star Pack, in a time of 13 flat. A half-sister to Ed Burke Million runner-up Terrific Temper, Pyromancer was a bit fidgety in the starting gate before breaking to the inside. She floated out after the gap and evened out with 110 yards to go. She finished under a hold and continued with an easy gallop out from there.
