Mike Tillemans’ homebred Red Hot Topic and Link Newcomb’s Valente One were the co-owners of the fastest time among the 35 juveniles that worked on Saturday morning at Los Alamitos.

The two colts worked against each other and both received :12.3 clockings following their individual strong performances. Trained by Felix Gonzalez, Red Hot Topic showed the best quickness out of the two, as the came away fast from the inside post and flew to the wire under a hand ride.
