CHRIS WADE’S PICKS TO CLICK FOR SUNDAY NIGHT, SEPTEMBER 24, 2023
Tonight's BEST BET goes in the Opening Leg of the "Best Bet" in all of Night Racing, the Early Pick Four where the :Pools are Gigantic and the Return on Your Investment could be the same with a Double Digit Winner along the way. In Race 1, the # 3-PAID IN GOLD went well for the runner-up placing versus much tougher Daytime Rivals 14 Night's ago when breaking okay and then having to duel harshly between rivals until garnering the lead through the turn prior to finishing evenly for 2nd versus a well meant favorite while earning a figure that is easily best in the lid-lifter for quality connections. The improving sort showed ability over the Turf prior and as Ya'll know.....if they like the Sod, they'll Love Los Alamitos. The PRICE PLAYER on the Saturday Evening Race-Card will be in the Co-Featured Blane Schvaneveldt Handicap Stakes for the Top-Notch Jockey/Trainer (24%) Combo that is a perfect 2 for 2 with this improving Filly who exits a crushing win on the ship-back-in to Los Alamitos 34 night's ago. In Race 8, the # 7-KT TWOS ARE WILD won well on the return to the local surface after prepping well (B++/Grade) for said effort when getting slightly fractious in the gate prior to breaking a tad slow and inward to brush a rival when showing a good amount of speed to be right there on the lead. After the decent start, this long-strider put forth a big run past the gap which proceeded a solid late to run to the wire despite drifting out steadily and seemingly with much run left in the tank. The number earned on my chart's is "right there" in this quality affair and they seemingly always improve in their 2nd start back over the local oval. Good Luck Everybody ! ! !
CHRIS WADE'S SIMULCAST PRIMER FOR LONE STAR PARK FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 - RACES 3-11
3RD 7-ABSOLUTE CORONA has many a figure in her holster that is easily best in this kinda ehhhh affair for a solid barn that does well droppers (18%) of note and if we get the inflated morning (my opinion) line, go to the window....again 10-DESTINYCHILD has improved in each subsequent start in New Mexico when earning comparable figures for this event and the well connected shipper should be the main threat to the topper 1-HP TRES OF CARTEL is another improving sort that will be an underneath exotic player for a new shed-row that's a hitting at 19% these last 30 night's of racing while looking to heat up (5%) with entrants this kind.
4TH 8-MARIE LAVEAUX 747 went well for the runner-up placing in her last over the surface when earning his event's top number and rather easily mind you for the same shed-row as our topper in the previous race, can y'all say and all Brian (B-S) Stroud Daily Double ? 6-POLITICALLIE is a strife finder with competitive numbers in her holster and if an elusive decent start is in the offing? then this should be the main player to our top selection 5-WAVE GOODBYE JESS will be a contenda in here for the underneath exotics if we toss aside the most recent troubled affair and garner a look at the prior 3 versus tougher.
5TH 10-FREEDOM RIDER went fairly well for a "better than looked" 5th versus tougher in New Mexico when earning a solid number for tonight's event and the sizable drop should enhance the shippers chances 8-LA CARLOTA TOXICA went ohhhh so much betta for 5th in her most recent much troubled effort 9 night's ago after a breaking slow and getting bumped back and crossed to lose multiple lengths and her racing lane prior to the solid late run when putting up a solid number that gives the "speedster" a look in here 2-FIRST NICE STAR is another improving runner that finished a close up 2nd over a wet oval when earning a comparable number for all the underneath exotic wagers.
6TH 4-MR CANAS is an in and outer (one good one bad) deluxe who exits a ehhh effort versus tougher when a well beaten 4th after getting fractious in the gate prior to a slow start to lose all chance for the top spots when still earning a figure that's best in here and the expected "innie" effort should make this triple tough to deny 8-BULLET TRAINE earned a competitive number in his last over the slower San Antonio surface that bodes well in this affair for new connections trying to break into the win column with recent purchases this season (5-0-1-0) and could at a rising price if the topper makes a mistake along the way 9-U GO GLEN COCO closed well for 3rd despite a less than stellar start and ensuing journey 22 night's ago when putting up a decent figure that gives the mid-race runner a shot in the trifecta at a nice price.
7TH 5-MIGHTY POCKET ROCKET is a hard-knocking speedster that exits solid 3rd place finish versus a quality cast of rivals and did so despite a less than stellar start when earning a figure that gives the old-timer (11 years old) an almost unbeatable look at an obvious short price 2-VP DOUBLE DOWN DASH finished a solid 2nd at a speed needed distance when putting up a number that is easily 2nd best in this event and the 3 year old should be the main player in the underneath exacta lottery 6-JESSA DUPONTE went okay for 4th versus a decent cast of Allowance Company that gives the Filly a shot at all the board placings for a good small barn.
8TH 6-A TRES OF GOOD CANDY doesn't look good on paper when beaten harshly versus quality New Mexico Opposition but said figures earned a steadily best in this affair with all factored (trouble @ track variant) in and the jockey/trainer combo (26%) ain't too shabby either 5-COVID TWENTY TWENTY broke the maiden in Lucky Lifetime Start # 12 on the ship-back-in to his favorite surface when earning a number that gives the slowly improving sort a look in the underneath exacta lottery 9-REMBERING MAC went well late for the trifecta placing after a less than stellar start and should be a contenda right back with a slightly better getaway fo a good barn looking to warm up with the weather.
9TH 1-UNCLE EDS IDEA is as consistent as they come (6-5-0-0) with no preference for distance or venue while earning quality figures that are slightly best in this closely matched affair and he goes from the rail where's he won twice from this season 3-KISS THE CARTEL has improved in each subsequent start this season and another baby step onward tonight put's the Filly in the photo at the wire 2-SAN LORENZO IVORY was kinda one paced in his last in New Mexico versus quality opposition while still putting up comparable figures and the shipper is a stellar 2 for 2 over the surface and goes from one good barn to another that's an incredible 42% these last 30 night's of racing.
10TH 1-GETTHERE FAST finished an even 6th in the GR1 All-American Derby when putting up a solid figure for this event and they seemingly always move forward on the ship-in from the higher altitude locations and the gelding loves the (4-3-1-0) inside post 2-DADDY CALIENTE crushed in his last at ole' Retama when putting up a "career best figure" that put's the Grey close up early and in the photo late 3-JESS THE LEADER has won 3 in a row for a top-notch owner/trainer combo having a solid season no matter the venue or level of competition and a typical effort put's the 4 year old in the trifecta lottery.
11TH 9-TARZANS FAVORITE improved immensely in his last two in New Mexico on my chart's and either figure earned is best in here on the ship-in for a stellar barn and the favorite he'll be and deservedly so 8-STEP IT UP has earned comparable numbers this season and a typical performance gives the well connected runner a look in here if the topper makes a baby mistake away from the barrier this night 1-COWBOY AWAY improved immensely in his last when showing a nice turn of foot after a tough start prior to the nice finish for the trifecta slot and the "first time gelding" should improve and at a price. Good Luck ! !
CHRIS WADE'S SIMULCAST PRIMER FOR EVANGELINE, SEPTEMBER 30 - RACES 5-7
5TH 6-GIANNIRUSSO is a big bodied runner who exits a "better than looked" 4th over a "wet surface" this long strider doesn't care for when running in spots throughout while still earning a figure that's slightly best in here over the runner-up that evening and if the surface is dry? then this runner should make some amends 5-SQEEZE THE LIME is the smaller bodied speedster that was slightly in front of our topper in their like last 35 night's ago when showing a nice run to garner the runner-up placing and the connections do well with new trainees 10-SAN LORENZO PEGASUS broke the maiden nicely in his last after running a close up 3rd prior versus our 2nd selection in here when earning a comparable figure that put's the late runner in the mix from the outside post and at a nice price.
6TH 8-SAN LORENZO DASH has my top figure in her holster while always giving her best when loaded in the gate and her jockey/trainer (30%) combo is top-notch 7-EL CAMINO CL will be the main threat to the topper with a typical hard trying performance for a solid barn that's a solid 21% with won last runners and the speedster likes the (5-2-1-0) surface 6-JLA INDY ROGUE won well in her last when earning a figure on my chart's that is pretty close to the toppers and the 4 year old should be a player in here at a nice price.
7TH 10-TK B ZOOMIN is a trouble prone deluxe who has my top figure on the docket with all factored in and the outside post should promote a clear path to the wire in a closely matched finale for a solid barn that exits a solid season at ole' Delta 3-AJS QUEENOFDASOUTH has been much troubled versus much tougher while earning numbers that are "right there" at this much lower level and the barn is a superb 30% with droppers of note 7-TTT LA ROLEX is a well connected runner who could be a contender in all the underneath exotics and at a nice price with a typical decent effort. Good Luck Y'all ! ! !
