AT 20TH ANNUAL LOS ALAMITOS EQUINE SALE ON OCTOBER 5 & 6
The 20th annual Los Alamitos Equine Sale is full of tremendous racing prospect led by an all-star consignment from Burns Ranch. Owned by reigning and three-time AQHA champion breeder Dr. Steve Burns and his wife, Jo Rae, Burns Ranch is located in Menifee, California and is widely regarded nationally as one of the premier Quarter Horse stallion stations and breeding locations in the nation. Burns Ranch is the home of many of the country’s stallions led by the great Favorite Cartel and the promising young sires Golden Boi, Mental Error and Mpshinning. Mental Error’s first crop of yearlings are part of this catalog. Here are just some of Burns Ranch’s notable consignments set to be offered at this year’s Los Alamitos Equine Sale.

Hip #37 Bite The Dust is a colt by Favorite Cartel out of graded stakes placed mare Ynot Bar. He’s a full brother Grade 1 Mildred Vessels Memorial Handicap and Grade 1 Charger Bar Handicap winner Tequila Sangria and a half-brother to Los Alamitos Winter Derby winner Ynot Walk.
Hip #41 Otto Zone and Hip #42 Winter Storm are both by Favorite Cartel and out of You Can Fly, making them full siblings to Grade 1 Go Man Go Handicap winner You Can Run. Otto Zone is a colt while Winter Storm is a filly.
