RACE 7 – 300 YARDS

#1 Apollitical Tools – April 2  :12.70 at 220 yards - Outside horse

Filly by Apollitical Jess out of No Tools Required posted the 6th fastest of 19 drills when outworking a foe 12.70 to 12.90. Apollitical Tools will break sharply and quickly starts pulling away from rival. Will be asked once with the left-hand during second half of the work and finishes nicely. Did everything in control the entire time in a nice drill.

#2 Jess A Little Riddle – April 4 :12.40 - Inside horse

Filly by Jess Being Valiant posted the 7th fastest of 48 drills when facing Hez Our Money Secret, who had the bullet work of :12.20 that morning. Jess A Little Secret will break in and will be urged early just past the gap. Tapped a few times right-handed and drifts out at the wire. Will continue to lug out and ends up hitting Hez Our Money Secret’s backside at the beginning of the clubhouse turn. Hez Our Money Secret was a troubled seventh in his racing debut last Sunday night.

#3 Chika Blazin  - March 31 :12.30 - Outside

On a morning in which debut winners Jeanetics, Oreeo and Jet Wings One posted preparatory works, it was this filly, Chika Blazin who had the fastest of 37 drills when covering the 220 yards in :12.30. The Walk Thru Fire will leave the gate nicely and shows a quick turn of foot while racing with her head high. She is asked once left-handed and really pulls away from her rival at the end. Will drift in slightly at the end yet wins the drill over the gelding Coopers Best Card easily by about a 1 ½ length in 12.3 to 12.6.

#4 Sweet Dalila – April 2  :12.70 - Outside horse

One Sweet Dash filly will post the 6th fastest out of 19 drills vs. the First Prize Cartel gelding First Dash Cartel. Sweet Dalila will hop to the inside out of the gate and bumps with First Prize Cartel. She will come out and will be asked right-handed a couple of times. She will finish a quick burst at the end on the way to an okay gallop out.

#5 Valantini – April 4 :12.40 - Inside horse

Filly by Hes Relentless faces Echoes Of Thunder in this drill and will do so evenly in a time of :12.40. Will break in but levels out to take the lead while racing on her own. Will finish a neck ahead of Echoes Of Thunder and will continue nicely past the wire. Super strong gallop out display. Valantini’s work was the 7th fastest of 48 drills.

#6 Diva On Fire – March 26  :12.40 - Inside

Purchased for $210,000 at the Ruidoso Sale, Diva On Fire is a full sister to champion Jess Walking Thru and half-sister to champion Sass Me Blue and also the stakes winner Jess Being Valiant. Facing Jess Blues Girl Candy in this drill, Diva On Fire will break nicely and really starts accelerating at the halfway mark. Flagged left-handed, she’ll have a half-length over her rival and cruises to the wire. Smooth stride. Solid work. Diva On Fire finished with the 5th fastest of 24 drills.

#7 Suite Josephine – April 4  :12.80 - Outside

Suite Josephine is by Apollitical Jess out of the multiple stakes finalist Christie Jo Dash. She’s facing the Mr Jess Perry filly Jess Fortunate. Will break in sharply to bump her inside rival before shifting out. Will be tapped once and will come back inside. She showed a nice stride once she evened out. Suite Josephine and Jess Fortunate both worked in a time of :12.80 – equaling the 30th fastest of 48 works this morning.
