CHRIS WADE'S PICKS FOR SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 30
Tonight's PRICE PLAYER goes in the Opening Leg of the "Best Bet" in all of Night Racing. the Early Pick Four here at Prestigious Los Alamitos where the Pools are Gigantic and the Return on Your Investment could be the same with a Double Digit Winner along the way. In Race 1, the # 6-DADDYGAVEITTOME exits a well beaten 4th versus a long gone odds-on favorite down South when actually earning a career best figure with all factored in that is competitive in the lid-lifter. In said effort, this Filly broke well to show some speed prior to falling back down the backside to be last of the compact cast. With the superfecta placing locked in, this runner did show some run down the lane followed by a solid gallop out. With a comparable number in the holster and another step forward expected, we'll push this runner to be a threat for the top-spot at a nice price. The BEST BET will be in the Late Daily Double Lid-Lifter for quality connections that do well with entrants (18%) of this ilk. In Race 7, the # 5-YOU CAN RUN went well for 2nd in the Azure Three Handicap Stakes versus Jessica Cruz who returned to win the GR2 Las Damas Handicap Stakes 14 nights ago. In the Azure Three, this runner broke a step, slow and inward to lose some ground and his early racing momentum. After the less than stellar getaway, this gelding put forth a solid mid-race and late run to the wire to garner the runner-up placing when earning his 2nd straight number on my charts that is easily best in this event. With my best figure and the outside post to enhance his chances, this 7 year old should be triple tough to deny as the deserved favorite. Good Luck Ya'll !!
CHRIS WADE'S SIMULCAST PRIMER FOR EVANGELINE DOWNS FOR SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 30
5TH 6-LRH GRANT JAMES lost all chance in the most recent when breaking slow and getting bumped multiple times over a wet surface this 4 year old hated immensely in an effort we'll toss aside and look to the prior runner-up effort that earned a figure that's slightly best in the closely matched simulcast lid-lifter. 10-GBH FISCAL TONI crushed a solid group for the level when never asked for much run when earning a number that's on the toppers heels and a nice priced ;player he'll be from the outside post. 3-GOOD LOOKIN PATRIOT was kinda one paced versus a long gone winner after a decent start and ensuing journey when earning a figure that is competitive in this event albeit at an expected rising (my opinion) price.
6TH 1-APOLLITICAL DELIGHT went "way better than looked" for 4th 22 nights ago after leaning back at the start lose over a length of ground prior to the big late run to the wire when earning a solid figure that's best in here. The one to hold with a decent start. 8-TF ITSY BITSY JESS broke well and finished steadily over a wet surface versus a well meant winner when earning a figure that's very competitive in this event and the putside post enhances the 3 year olds chances. 7-FLAMING EAGLE closed strongly or the nose beat runner-up against a solid winner while putting up a number that'll put the gelding in the mix for a shed-row that's a super 24% with mini respite runners.
7TH 2-MASSETO broke on the lead and held well for the nose beat runner-up versus a well meant winner when earning a solid figure that's steadily best in this event with all factored in and let's all hope for the generous (my opinion) line. 3-OVATION is as consistent as they come at this upper level of competition with many an on the board finishes on his docket that'll put this 4 year old in the photo.....again albeit at too short of a price for me. 7-POLITA CHICK was a much troubled 4th versus a solid group of rivals 28 nights ago after getting rambunctious in the gate prior to a less than stellar start prior to a solid late run to the wire. The Filly put up a solid number that's comparable in here and a nice priced player she'll be with a repeat.
8TH 4-KS TIGER OAK finished a close up 3rd at the level 17 nights ago after a decent start when earning a number that's slightly best in the finale for a barn looking to heat up on the win 11-0-4-5) end these last 30 nights of racing. 5-POP POP RABBIT crushed as the Chris' Picks Best Bet 28 nights ago at a nice price of $ 6.40 on the win end when breaking well and extending to the wire and with run left to give. A repeat should put the improving sort in the mix albeit at a nice mutual this night. 7-TF EYESA DASHIN has been 3rd in 3 straight and 4 total from 7 career starts and...has my 3rd best figure in this event and thus, we'll put this runner in the 3rd spot at a medium mutual. Good Luck Y'all ! ! !
CHRIS WADE'S PICKS FOR SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1
Tonight's PRICE PLAYER goes in the Closing Leg of the "Best Bet" in all of Night Racing, the Early Pick Four here at Grand Ole' Loss Alamitos where the Pools are Gigantic and the Return on Your Investment could be the same with a Nice Priced Winner along the way. In Race 4, the # 4-FAMOUS CARTEL JESSY is a big bodied well bred and like connected runner who's a talented trouble prone runner deluxe who did run 4th in the GR1 Golden State Million Futurity last season despite over a length of trouble along the way. This Filly prepped strongly for (A-/Grade) her much troubled last 3 efforts against quality Trial Rivals two back and versus a well meant Winner in the Justanold Love Handicap 22 nights ago. In said effort, this runner got fractious in the gate prior to leaning back and then bobbling harshly to lose multiple lengths and her early racing momentum. After the tough getaway, this entrant put forth a solid mid-race and late run to the wire while under a stout hold by her race-mate. The figure earned is "right there" in here and only a decent start is needed to be Big Threat for all the board placings at a solid mutual. The BEST BET on the Sunday Evening Race-Card will be in the 2nd of the 4 Trials to the Southern California Derby for Top-Notch Connections having a stellar season over our Racing Surface. In Race 6, the # 6-STANLEY CARTEL lost all chance as the deserved 2nd choice in the GR1 Loa Alamitos Super Derby 21 nights ago when he leaned back st the start to lose multiple lengths and his racing lane. After the "horrible getaway" this runner went to climbing harshly when disliking the dirt being thrown into his face. The 3 year old was then guzzled back by his first time new rider. It's an effort we'll toss aside and look to the prior 5 efforts when he was unbeaten and actually untested in all of said crushing wins when earning figures that are easily best in this affair. We'll expect his typical quick start and ensuing strong finish while under a hold to the wire when starting a new streak. Good Luck Y'all ! ! !
